You may not be selected for the job, your boy/girlfriend may leave you for another person, your near and dear one may leave you forever. We all face these kinds of negative situations in our life. It is not easy to be positive in these situations.
Sometime we become so attached to some situation or person that in case of any disturbance or detachment with that situation or person, our heart starts to burn! Various negative thoughts and emotions come in us. But it is not good to make the situation worse at least from our own side.
Here are some ideas to help you be positive in any negative situation.
Avoid bad reaction
Sometime the situation itself may not be that much bad but our over negative response may make it worse. We may just be multiplying unhealthy and bad responses and putting us in the state of stress and mental pressure.
Maintain peace of mind
Eliminate negative thoughts from mind. Rather than being impacted by negative thought and situation, focus your mind on positive memories and happenings. Be cool and calm. Hope for the best!
Be responsible and learn
If the situation is because of your own action then admit it. Sometime this kind of things happen in everyone's life. However it may create difficulty if we develop just forget what happened in the past and past is the past kind of mentality. Analyze what went wrong. Learn from what happened so that you will not do the same thing in future or do in better way.

Thought it may not bring you completely out of the situation, you definitely will feel better. Just leave the situation. Do what you love to do. Go to the park and see those beautiful flowers. Call your friends and drink coffee at your favorite café. Your mind will be diverted from the situation giving you more time to get relaxed bringing peace to the mind and body.
Actually I got inspiration to write this article from a friend of mine. He broke up with his longtime girlfriend last month. She married another man and went abroad. He was very disturbed for some days because he loved her very much. Everything was in mess.
He only used to say that he was alright if somebody tried to calm him. Then in the meantime, I had to go to my village for sometime.
After about two weeks, I met him at a restaurant with a girl who introduced to me as his new girlfriend. I was not surprised to see him with new girl but the person he was about a week before and on that day actually surprised me! I congratulated him and he asked me to come to his room later on that day. I was happy that he managed to take control of the situation soon.
Later that day, I went to his room. We talked about everything what happened to him. Whatever he said was truly inspirational. Everything happens for some good reason. Forget what happened in the past but do not forget to learn from what happened in the past. Focus on positive things and just move forward!
